Switching between hot & cold, you get the best of both worlds.

Sauna (traditional or infrared) are proven to improve blood circulation, immunity boosting, body recovery, stress relief & skin health.

Followed with an ice bath, the experience helps your body to cool down while strengthening your heart health, soothing your muscles, and uplifting your mood.

An infrared sauna uses light to create heat, known as ‘infrared radiant heat’ which penetrates into your skin, deep into your tissues, muscles and cells, increasing oxygen flow and circulation, produces a detoxifying sweat and dissolves harmful substances accumulated in your body.

The temperature within the infrared sauna sits between 40-65 degrees, this is the optimum temperature to receive full benefits of the sauna.

Infrared therapy is a wellness experience where the results are progressive. This means the more you come in, the better you will feel. Just like working out or dieting, it will take a few sessions before benefits begin to manifest.

You may notice that in your first few sessions it takes around 10-20 minutes to break a sweat. This is because our saunas are heating your body directly and raising your core temperature, rather than simply heating your skin with hot air. This is a defining difference from a traditional or community sauna you might have used before. As your body becomes more accustomed to raising your core temperature on a regular basis, your sweat will become more excessive and start sooner into your session.

A traditional sauna uses steam or heated rocks to heat the air around you which can boost your circulation, alleviate chronic pain, reduce joint stiffness, and even strengthen your immune system.

Ice baths are quick, therapeutic dips in frigid water with temperatures ranging from 50-59 degrees Fahrenheit. As a result, it minimizes body inflammation, and builds the immune, lymphatic, circulatory and digestive systems. They are also proven to enhance your overall quality of life – uplift your mood, help you sleep better and function more efficiently.

The best option is nothing at all. Swimsuits are great too, but if you feel more comfortable having clothes on, lightweight clothing is best. We also recommend bringing clothing that is loose fitting and comfortable to put back on after your session – there is nothing worse than trying to put on tight clothing when you are hot and sweaty, or just came from a cold bath!

It’s important to feel comfortable before and after your infrared sauna, so we suggest wearing loose clothing, or packing a spare pair of clothes if you can, as you will continue to sweat after the session as your body continues to cool down. We encourage you to BYO a towel and water to hydrate, however towels will be available to hire and water carafes will be provided.
